Students as a reminder skateboards, scooters and bicycles are not to be ridden on campus or in the parking lot at any time.
Students please keep all food in the quad or cafeteria during lunch time, only water will be allowed on the field.
Good luck to our boys and girls basketball teams as they take on Escobedo this afternoon at Escobedo MS.
This year we are competing against Cadwalleder Middle School to raise money for the Make a Wish foundation. In the month of January, Student Council will be selling paper slips for a dollar to make the biggest chain we can as a school! Together we can beat Cadwalleder and support children with terminal illnesses!
Make A Wish bracelet will be sold during lunch for $1 until January 31th.
Root beer floats for quarter 2 Straight A’s will be given out during lunches on Thursday, January 25 in the cafeteria. Please bring your RED honor card to receive your float. Straight O ice cream will be given out Friday during lunches. Congratulations to everyone that earned Straight A’s and/or Straight O’s on their Quarter 2 report card!
Students! Starting today you might find hearts on or in your lockers. These random messages of kindness are for you, from the Choose Kind club! We invite you to join the Choose Kind club and help us spread random acts of kindness around the school, from 3:30 to 4:30 every Tuesday.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting for boys interested in playing soccer on January 25th at 6:15 pm in the Theater. Tryouts will be on January 30th and February 1st at 3:35 on the field.
There will be a mandatory informational meeting for parents of girls that are interested in playing softball on January 25th at 6 pm in the library. Tryouts will be January 30th and February 1st after school.
Students, for those of you who have heard about the new club called Safe Squad, here is a little more information. Safe Squad is a place for all students to come together and create alliances that promote equality and acceptance throughout the school community. All identities are accepted and respected at Safe Squad and any student at Leavitt is welcome to join!
