Good morning!  This is Monday, January 29, 2018. This is A week. We are in periods 1-6

Please stand for The Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance

to the flag,

of the United States

Of America

and to the Republic

for which it stands,

one nation under God,

indivisible,

with liberty and justice for all.

Please be seated for 30 seconds of silent meditation.

Good Morning Patriots!!!

Students as a reminder skateboards, scooters and bicycles are not to be ridden on campus or in the parking lot at any time.

Students please keep all food in the quad or cafeteria during lunch time, only water will be allowed on the field.

Don’t forget to wear your house shirts on Wednesdays to get points for your house.

This year we are competing against Cadwallader Middle School to raise money for the Make a Wish foundation. In the month of January, Student Council will be selling paper slips for a dollar to make the biggest chain we can as a school! Together we can beat Cadwallader and support children with terminal illnesses!

Pack the Gym Night this Wednesday, January 31st tickets for this basketball game will be .50 to get in. Come out and cheer on our Boys and Girls basketball teams as we take on Cadwallader. Let’s pack the bleachers and cheer our teams on to a win!

Make A Wish bracelet will be sold during lunch for $1 until January 31th.

Students!   We invite you to join the Choose Kind club and help us spread random acts of kindness around the school, from 3:30 to 4:30 every Tuesday.

Please join us Tuesday, January 30th from 3pm-9pm at Kneaders on West Craig Road for our monthly fundraiser! You must have a flyer if you want to get the points for your house. Flyers are available in the Dean’s Office.

Students, for those of you who have heard about the new club called Safe Squad, here is a little more information. Safe Squad is a place for all students to come together and create alliances that promote equality and acceptance throughout the school community. All identities are accepted and respected at Safe Squad and any student at Leavitt is welcome to join!

Keep up the reading and may your House be on top next week. All participants need to do is scan the QR code on the handout or go to my library website at https://leavittlibrary.weebly.com/reading-challenge.html

Students in order to help speed up the lunch lines, please have your sides picked out before you get to the window. The lunch special for today is Marinara Meatball Sub Sandwich. Thanks for your help.

Thank you and have a Monday!
